Voters Reelect Dead Pennsylvania State Representative

Longtime Pennsylvania state Representative Anthony DeLuca was reelected to his Pennsylvania representative’s seat on Tuesday by a landslide, with more than 85% of the votes being cast for him. The only problem is that the 85-year-old DeLuca died on October 9th from lymphoma.

That means a special election is on the way for the seat. The question on everyone’s mind is why he was on the ballot if he died a month ago? The answer is simple; DeLuca passed away too close to the election for his name to be removed from the ballots.
