Kourtney Kardashian might have accidentally started a movement in the city of Malbu. The town’s mayor, Bruce Silverstein, recently discovered the star might have gotten special treatment when filing for a permit for a recent event she threw.
Kardashian reportedly threw a “wellness event for friends of” her lifestyle brand, Poosh. But Silverstein, who lives near the empty house where the event took place, alleges that Kardashian’s event was given an “A-OK” in an unusually quick amount of time.
Silverstein wondered how the Special Events Permit was “green-lit in record time.” And though he seems to blame the city itself as much as Kardashian, he points out that famous people tend to get treatment that the regular citizens of Malibu do not.
And he’s vowed to do something about it.
