Disney+ is joining Netflix on cracking down on password sharing. Canadian subscribers received an email last week letting them know that there were changes coming that would restrict them from sharing accounts outside of their household.
The changes will start on or after November 1st. It’s not confirmed if or when this password sharing crackdown will spread to other regions like the U.S., but it’s not uncommon for companies to slowly roll out changes like this a few countries at a time to iron out the kinks.
