Last week, a flight bound for New York City from the UK was canceled at the last minute for what appears to be a downright terrifying reason. Phil Harvey was aboard Virgin Airlines flight VS127 who claimed to have seen “several screws missing from the plane’s wing” during the safety briefing from the flight crew. Engineering crews came out and inspected the plane, and the flight was canceled, though the engineers said there was no “structural” or “safety issue” that would’ve impacted the plane. Still, after the recent airplane news, it’s not unreasonable for Harvey to have questions after seeing that.
