- They ranked the states on 29 key indicators of dating-friendliess broken down into three main categories: dating opportunities, dating economics and romance & fun.
- These include factors like number of single adults, online-dating opportunities, average price for beer and wine, average cost of movie tickets, price of a haircut, restaurants per capita and more.
- So, where is the best place to be single? Florida takes that honor, coming in first for romance & fun and third for dating opportunities.
- New York, fourth overall, is number one for dating opportunities, while Utah, 21st overall, is first for dating economics.
- The state where you donât want to be single is West Virginia, which is 48th for both dating opportunities and romance & fun.
