A woman visiting Italy got scammed so bad, she had to give props to the scammer. Clarisa Murgia, who was visiting from Argentina, was promised an “ocean vista” room at the hotel she booked. But when she got there, Murgia realized the view was nothing more than a poster of the ocean on the wall. "No one has ever deceived me like this before, hahaha," she said in a now-viral TikTok, panning to the disappointing reality.
Murgia had shelled out extra cash after the bed and breakfast's online ad promised a picturesque "sea view" room for a "vacation of a lifetime." However, Murgia laughed through the frustration, her vacation catfishing serving as a cautionary tale about too-good-to-be-true online listings.
