The Most Sinful Cities In The U.S.

If you’re looking for trouble, you can find it just about anywhere, but some places do make it easier than others. Some cities are known for their naughtiness and a new report reveals where they are.

WalletHub has just released their annual list of the Most Sinful Cities in America.

  • They compared 182 U.S. cities on 37 key indicators of vices and illicit behavior in seven categories: anger & hatred, jealousy, excesses & vices, greed, lust, vanity and laziness.
  • Cities were rated on everything from violent crimes per capita to excess drinking to the number of adult entertainment establishments.
  • Holding onto the number one spot again this year is Las Vegas, proving it really deserves the “Sin City” nickname.
  • Houston, second overall, comes in first for lust, while Birmingham, Alabama, 20th overall, is number one for anger & hatred.
  • Atlanta, fourth overall, is number one for jealousy, while Huntington, West Virginia, 75th overall, is first for laziness.
  • As for the least sinful city, this year it’s Columbia, Maryland, followed by Fremont, California.
