An Australian dating expert and matchmaker reveals the five words she thinks women should stop saying if they want to find romance. In a video posted to Instagram this week, Louanne Ward explains why women should avoid saying, âI donât need a man.â
According to Ward, this phrase sends single men running and it becomes a kind of self-fulfilling prophecy. While itâs true that you donât need a man because you earn your own money, can support yourself and are happy with your life, she says, âEvery time you say âI donât need a man,â what youâre doing is putting out there exactly what youâre attracting back.â
And while you might not need a man for a lot of things, Ward points out that you do actually âneed all the things a man can give you,â like love, affection, support, laughter, caring and of course, sex. So rather than declaring that you donât need a man and putting that idea out into the universe, she advises âbeing brave enough to say âActually, I do need a man for all the things that I canât give myself.ââ So if youâre looking for a relationship with a man, itâs tough to manifest one when youâre literally saying the opposite.
