Taylor Swift's "Eras Tour Book" has become the biggest publishing launch of 2024, selling 814,000 copies exclusively through Target during the Thanksgiving weekend, according to Circana.
Despite skipping major retailers like Amazon and facing online criticism for typos and grainy photos in the $39.99 book, Swift's release achieved near-record numbers, second only to Barack Obama's "A Promised Land" in first-week nonfiction sales.
Known for bypassing traditional routes, Swift previously partnered directly with theaters for her concert film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour," which grossed over $200 million.
